After the downloads are complete, unzip the files in the directory you created. When the files are unzipped, you will be prompted for a password. The password is available from Client Support at 561-963-7550. There will be two files for each database, one with an .mdf extension and the other with a .ldf extension
Start the Provider Almanac software. Select the Databases menu item. Select the POS submenu item. Click the Connect button. The status window on the screen should show you are connected to SQL Server. Select a Database POS_2003 through POS_2009 or UPIN_ALL. Then click the Attach button. Navigate to the database file, highlight the database file and then click the Open button. This will attach the database for access by Provider Almanac.
Start the Provider Almanac software by selecting the item on the menubar. Select the Databases menu item. Select the CR menu item. Click the Connect button. The status window on the screen should show you are connected to SQL Server. Select a Database CR_2002 through CR_2009. Then click the Attach button. Navigate to the database file, highlight the database and then click the Open button. This will attach the database for access by Provider Almanac.
Start the Provider Almanac software by selecting the item on the menubar. Select the databases menu item. Select the Access menu item. Then select "Local" as the access method.
