Healthcare events are the tradeshows and training opportunities that are
available to healthcare professionals. Our goal on this website
is to provide a list of these major events. We attend some of these
events and believe you must use this training to further your professional
development. Over the years, tradeshows have also been a valuable source
of information and networking opprotunities.
On this webpage, we list all the national healthcare events and training opportunties. We plan to add the state level events when we have a
reliable source of information.

HFMA - Healthcare Financial Management Association
June 23 - 26, 2008. The conference is in Las Vegas, NV at the
Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center. Last years conference in San Diego, CA had attendance of over 2,000 members. The
conference is three days with pre and post conference training
sessions. There is a trade show.

AHA - American Hospital Association
April 6 - 9, 2008 in Washington, DC at the Hilton Washington for the Annual Membership Meeting. Next years meeting will be in the same location on April 26 - 29,
2009

SHSMD - Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development
September 17 - 20, 2008. The conference is in San Francisco, CA. There is
a tradeshow and special activities. .

HIMSS - Health Information and Management Systems Society
April 4 - 8, 2009. The conference is in Chicago, IL. Over 25,000
members and 850 exhibitors are expected to attend.

FICPA - Healthcare Conference
April 24-25, 2008. The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accounts sponsors
the Florida Healthcare Conference with the sponsorship of Florida Chapter of HFMA
and FHA. The last conference had over 300 attendees and 15 exhibitors.
